What is Breathwork?
Breathwork involves consciously controlling breathing patterns to achieve physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Rooted in ancient practices like Pranayama in Yoga, it helps manage stress and enhance wellbeing.
By focusing on the breath, breathwork calms the mind and body, shifting from the stress-inducing sympathetic nervous system to the relaxing parasympathetic system, promoting inner peace.
Breathwork can help deal with stress and anxiety, improve mental clarity, increase energy, strengthen your immune system and release emotional blockages (linked to a trauma for example).
It is accessible to all (under certain conditions) and can potentially bring unparalleled results.
What happens during a breathwork session?
The session takes place in person at my practice and goes through the following steps:
1. The session will start with a 20-min consultation to ground you, discuss your intentions and to explain you clearly the instructions
2. Lying down on the floor, you will breathe following my instructions on a musical journey that will last around 50min
3. The session will end with a 20-min exchange about your experience in order to help you ground yourself and integrate what might have come up
